Tom has spent more than 20 years in tertiary education in New Zealand and internationally.  He has deep experience in foundation learning, workplace training, and academic quality across PTEs, ITPs, and prison-based education. He's seen the full spectrum of learner needs. What matters most to him is keeping education personal and putting ākonga first, which is exactly why he joined Education Unlimited

"I've always loved working in organisations where the owner is hands-on, and values sit at the heart of every decision," Tom says. "At Education Unlimited, it's about tailoring programmes so they genuinely work for people. Tom believes the organisation’s culture is centred around truly adapting to what each learner and client actually needs. "Tom’s focus will be on helping to shape the PTE strategy, liaising with NZQA and ensuring compliance of academic programmes.

Tom recently relocated with his whānau from Wellington to Nelson-Tasman, trading the Windy City for coastal camping trips and a thriving veggie patch.
