Thomas Tairoa

Thomas Taiaroa (Ngāti Uenuku, Ngāti Rangi, Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi,Ngāti Tūwharetoa, Ngā Rauru, Ngāti Kuri, Rātana) is Education Unlimited’s Māori advisor and kaitiaki of our Ka Ora Māori development programme. He works alongside every team member to grow confidence in te reo, tikanga and TeTiriti, tailoring one-on-one sessions to their level and role. As Thomas says,“te reo Māori doesn’t walk alone – it needs guidelines of practice or tikanga,”a philosophy that helps our people stand tall, in the workplace and in their communities."​
